A: • *We are located in Mindenmines Missouri which is a small-town West of Lamar, & Northwest of Carthage, & Joplin Missouri & we are right next to Pittsburg KS State line. 

We meet in person for pick up only.

We are more than happy to meet within a reasonable distance, just not more than 2 hours away.  We prefer to meet in a town close by us in a safe public location especially with us having 7 kids & when we have multiple families wanting to meet for pick up on the same days. It just makes things a lot easier, but we will try and work with you as much as we can.  I am so sorry for this inconvenience!  We put our family first! However, we can meet in Lamar Missouri, or in a town near our town. ** It depends on our situation and if at that time we can meet further or not. Thank you for understanding!

Our family & I work very hard 24/7 while the pups are here, to ensure they’re raised to the very best standard. Families, getting a pup, need to ensure they’re ready to be able to come and get their pup when given date/time to do so when working with you on a date and time. If a puppy is kept at K’s Family Homestead past 8 weeks of age at the customer’s request, boarding will be charged at the rate of $15/day or $100 a week. If, boarding is required, we board for ONLY an additional 2 weeks at the longest. No exceptions!! This covers the cost of food, and supplies needed, and time spent caring for your puppy. All late pick up needs must be discussed prior.

A: *All our litter of Puppies will be Registered with ARRI only. Alaska & River, our mini schnauzers are dual Registered with both APRI & AKC. Millie, our female black n' silver merle mini schnauzer is registered with just APRI. Autumn & Snickers, our mini poodles are registered with just APRI as well.

**That being said you will only get the pedigree with APRI for *Pet Only, (pet only means that the puppy does NOT come with their registration papers but will come with their pedigree paper.) If you happen to want BR we can discuss it, if approved then you will receive the APRI registration papers as well. If you want to dual register them to have AKC, you can as long as you have their pedigree which you will have.

A: The deposit is $300 and Nonrefundable, so please keep that in mind & make sure you are 100% ready for a new puppy. 

*Yes, the deposit goes towards the total cost of the puppy. 

A: *The Pricing for all our breeds of puppies are based on the list below…

~Return customers only will receive $200 off your next puppy. 

*Remember it is also based on the *breed, *size, *color, and *markings. 

*Our (Pet Only) prices for our puppies are between $1,000 - $1,300 - $1,500 up to $1,800…

 (Pet only means that the puppy does NOT come with their registration papers but will come with their APRI pedigree papers.)

 *BR with the APRI Registration papers can be discussed but we do not give out breeding rights to just anyone. If you are approved for BR’s it’s an extra $500 on top of the total cost of what you owe at pick up. If you want AKC you can dual register with them as long as you have the APRI registration papers with proof of pedigree. 

*Prices won’t get lower than in between these prices unless I do a *SALE.  Too much work & money goes into what we love doing to provide a good loving puppy for y’all. They will all come with just the APRI pedigree papers for *Pet Only.  

Once puppies are born, we will post pictures with their prices underneath each picture, so it makes it easier for you to choose from. Prices might change based on the circumstances and cost of living. Please keep that in mind. If I told you a price for that certain puppy/litter, we have born then that won’t change for that said puppy/litter. 

Our prices are very reasonable considering the hard work and money that goes into caring for our parent dogs and puppies. If you don’t like what we do than please find someone you feel more comfortable doing business with. We hope to be a little more affordable for good loving families really wanting a Mini Schnauzer, Mini Schnoodle or Poodle and we really hope you will want to do business with us. We do everything right in taking care of our puppies including health testing our parent dogs. Every breeder is different, and every breeding program is different. Nobody is the same and I don’t tend to be like every breeder out there. 

That being said… I do support other good breeders who has higher prices because they are well worth it. This is what I felt led to do for my Program. I do what is necessary to do for our dogs and puppies to make sure they are all healthy before they leave our care and our whole family loves each one. We thrive to have healthy happy puppies.  I put a lot of time and money into my dogs and puppies, and I might lose money, but I do this because I love it and love my dogs and animals and love putting smiles on families faces.  

They are all well taken care of and honestly it is completely wrong to judge someone based on their prices because not every breeder is the same, and you should make sure the puppies are being well taken care of before you purchase from anyone. I have lots of references and reviews!
Please make sure you are 100% interested in one of our puppies before making a commitment.

• *THE NONREFUNDABLE DEPOSITS ARE DUE ONCE THE PUPPIES ARE ABOUT 2 WEEKS OLD TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE DOING WELL. IF YOU ARE READY TO PICK OUT YOUR PUPPY FOR US TO DOCK OR LEAVE NATURAL THEN A DEPOSIT WILL BE REQUIRED BEFORE THEY ARE 3 DAYS OLD.

THERE IS ONLY ONE EXCEPTION TO GET A DEPOSIT BACK- SHOULD A PUPPY PERISH WHILE IN OUR CARE, AND YOU HAVE PROVIDED A DEPOSIT, WE WILL VOID THE AGREEMENT AND GIVE YOU A FULL REFUND. UNLESS YOU CHOOSE ANOTHER PUPPY IF ONE IS AVAILABLE OR IT CAN GO TOWARDS THE NEXT LITTER, WE HAVE AVAILABLE.

A: *TO BE ON THE WAITING LIST YOU CAN LET US KNOW VERBALLY IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ONE OF OUR PUPPIES BEFORE THEY ARE BORN TO GET IN LINE FOR ONE OF OUR PUPPIES. 

THE NONREFUNDABLE DEPOSIT HAS TO BE PAID IN FULL IN ORDER TO PICK OUT YOUR PUPPY FOR US TO HOLD, ONCE THEY TURN 2 WEEKS OLD. Waiting until they are 2 weeks old allows us to ensure they are growing good and are healthy. If you want to pick one out earlier then you may put a deposit down sooner for us to hold that puppy.

THE DEPOSIT WILL RESERVE YOUR SPOT FOR YOUR PUPPY THAT YOU’VE PICKED. 

• *BREEDER GETS FIRST PICK IF WE DECIDE TO KEEP ONE, BUT IF WE DO NOT DECIDE TO KEEP ONE THEN WE WILL MAKE SURE YOU KNOW.

ONCE WE HAVE CONFIRMED PREGNANCY.  WE WILL POST AN UPDATE ON OUR PAGE & WEBSITE ONCE PUPPIES ARE BORN THEN WE WILL POST PICTURES & VIDEOS ON OUR PAGE & WEBSITE AS WELL.

• A: THE PICK OF THE LITTER GOES IN THE ORDER OF WHO IS IN LINE TO PICK FIRST EITHER OUT THE MALES OR FEMALES LIST ON THE ONES STILL AVAILABLE & DEPOSITS HAVE TO BE PAID IN FULL BY THE TIME THEY TURN 2 WEEKS OLD IN ORDER FOR US TO CONTINUE TO HOLD THAT PUPPY YOU WANT. 

*IF WE EVER END UP WITH A PETITE SIZE PUPPY, THEN THAT PUPPY WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL WE KNOW FOR SURE IT IS DOING OK HEALTH WISE & GROWING GOOD.

Now the exciting part... Wait patiently for updates. You will receive photos of the puppies when they become available. Once your new furbaby is picked when they are born, or around 2 weeks old, you will then get to watch your puppy grow through quality pictures and videos we send to those who have reserved a puppy. We will send pictures of the puppies at birth, 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 6 weeks and the week they go home, along with reports on their growth and development of your furbaby until he/she goes home to you at 8 weeks old. I usually send extra pictures & videos in between as well. 

A: WE REQUIRE THE FINAL PAYMENT TO BE PAID WITH *CASH OR THROUGH CASH APP ONLY* AT THE TIME OF PICK UP. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT OTHER FORMS OF PAYMENT AT PICK UP.

THEY GET DEWORMED EVERY TWO WEEKS STARTING AT 2 WEEKS OF AGE THEN AT 3 WEEKS, 4 WEEKS, 6 WEEKS & FINALLY AT 8 WEEKS OLD. WE USE PYRANTEL PAMOATE DEWORMER MEDICINE RECOMMENDED BY OUR VETERINARIAN, BUT WE ALSO USE NATURAL REMEDIES LIKE CRUSHED RAW PUMPKIN SEEDS.  You will need to continue with deworming once a month. I will be providing a small bottle of the dewormer for you to take home in your puppy care bag. You can do all natural remedies if you choose to go that route as well.  

The puppies will have been on a healthy diet plan & a complete de-worming schedule.

Our veterinarian will test their fecal and she also examines their ears, eyes, teeth, bite, heart, lungs, lymph nodes, knees, hips, range of motion of joints, bone structure and overall general health when they go to get examined by the vet for their health check.

THEY WILL GET (1) BOOSTER VACCINE FROM THE VET BY 7 WEEKS OLD.  If you are against vaccines, please let us know. This should be up to the new families to decide. If you choose to not get it, please note we are not held responsible for anything at any time.   

THEY WILL EACH GET A HEALTH CERTIFICATE ONLY IF YOU LIVE AND WILL BE TRAVELING OUT OF OUR STATE OF MISSOURI. IT HAS TO BE FILLED OUT AND SIGNED BY OUR DOCTOR TO CLEAR THEM TO TRAVEL IF YOU LIVE OUT OF THE STATE OF MISSOURI ONLY BY LAW. 

You will also be given your puppy’s health record to give to your veterinarian.

YOU WILL STILL NEED TO TAKE YOUR PUPPY TO THE VET AS SOON AS YOU GET THE PUPPY, TO GET ANOTHER FULL EXAM. 

A: YES, all our parent dogs we own were genetically health tested & cleared with Wisdom Panel. Results are on the parent & upcoming litter page.

A: We have videos on our YouTube channel of our previous litters. We will post new pictures and videos of the puppies on here, our Facebook page, and videos on our YouTube channel as well. 

A: *YES, THEY WILL HAVE A LIMITED HEALTH GUARANTEE WITH STRICT TERMS.

ALL FUTURE VETERINARIES WILL BE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER.

*AT NO TIME IS THE SELLER RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INCURRED EXPENSES.

WE ARE NOT TO BE HELD RESPONSIBLE ONCE THE PUPPY IS OUT OF OUR CARE ESPECIALLY BEING HEALTH CLEARED BY OUR VET.

THEY BECOME YOUR RESPONSIBILITY ONCE THEY ARE PICKED UP.

EVERY PRECAUTION HAS BEEN TAKEN TO SEE THAT YOUR NEW PUPPY DOG IS HEALTHY AND DISEASE FREE.

HOWEVER, THE SELLER DOES NOT GUARANTEE AGAINST CONDITIONS THAT CAN BE BROUGHT ON BY STRESS OR ADVERSE CONDITIONS THAT WE CANNOT CONTROL, LIKE A HEART MURMUR OR ANY OTHER UNDERLINING CONDITIONS WHEN SAID PUPPY/DOG LEAVES OUR CARE!

MORE INFORMATION IS PROVIDED ON THE CONTRACT THAT YOU HAVE TO AGREE WITH IN ORDER TO BUY A PUPPY FROM US.

A: *Missouri law requires puppies to go to their home at 8 weeks old. We make sure all the puppies are healthy and growing before they leave our care.

A: Yes, we will provide a care gift bag with a blanket, bag of goodies including a baggie of food and a travel bowl with a bottle of water and the paperwork & records you will need. Keep in mind every gift bag will vary and might be different. 

A:  No, we do not have a kennel setting at all. The puppies are handled multiple times a day, never alone, and are loved from the moment they are born. Our dogs live with our family in our home, and enjoy all the playtime, snuggles, tummy rubbings and walks they want. We even take our parent dogs with us when we go camping or on day trips. We are NOT a large-scale breeding program. We also Follow Missouri laws regarding breeding.

A: The Miniature Schnauzers & Mini Schnoodles will get between 12lbs-14lbs like their parents. The Mini Poodles will get to be between 9lbs-12lbs. The Moyen Poodles will be between the parents sizes and the Father is 12lbs and Mom is 50lbs. 

A: *NO, WE DO NOT BELIEVE IN MICROCHIPPING OUR PUPPIES OR PARENT DOGS WHATSOEVER. THAT WILL BE UP TO THE NEW OWNERS IF THAT IS SOMETHING THEY WOULD LIKE TO DO.
