This is our favorite local family-owned feed store in Carthage Missouri! They take care of you and make sure you have what you need for your animals. We even get our Next Level dog food from them for all our dogs including for our puppies we have.
We really like it. We made the decision to switch to Next Level dog food after trying it when they were out of HI Point Zero (blue bag). We also get our chicken & duck feed from here as well. Here is the link to visit their website. Other Feed stores usually carry this brand, so just look if you are interested in using this brand.
You can add fruits and veggies that are safe for dogs to eat if you want and other healthy foods and herbs that are safe. I love adding pumpkin puree, goats milk, crushed pumpkin seeds, raw eggs, fruits and veggies including oats in their food a couple to a few times a week. You can even cook some meat up for them to add in every so often or feed them fresh food instead of dry kibble. Just some options. We also add 2Tbs of ACV to a full bowl of water that helps prevent fleas & ticks naturally.

I make a healthy add on to our dog’s food and I even add ACV to their water.
It is purée pumpkin, ACV, sweet potatoes, carrots, fresh green beans, beef broth, blueberries, turmeric, basil, parsley, very little of cayenne pepper, rosemary & dandelions with oats as well in my ninja for a smoothie texture to add on top of some dog food.
There are numerous health benefits of apple cider vinegar for dogs.
*Please always do your own research and talk with your vet. I have done a lot of research before giving our dogs anything and have talked with multiple vets about giving our dogs natural remedies, foods, herbs & treats. There are so many good natural things out there that God created not only for our furry friends but for ourselves.
The main ones for dogs are:
*ACV is anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and antiseptic. It helps prevent bacterial and viral growth in the digestive tract. In addition, it does not upset the balance of the friendly bacteria inside the GI tract.
*As a result, apple cider vinegar boosts the immune system. It improves stamina, increases resistance to diseases, prevents common infections, and is therefore helpful for dogs with weakened immune systems.
*ACV normalizes the blood's acid alkaline balance and its potassium-rich ingredients remineralize the body. ACV breaks down calcium deposits in a dog's joints and remineralizes the bones, and as such it is beneficial for dogs with arthritis and joint problems such as hip dysplasia.
*Another benefit of apple cider vinegar for dogs is its effect on a dog's skin and coat due to ACV's detoxifying properties. It is an effective itching remedy. Dogs with itchy skin caused by allergies (e.g. seasonal allergies, flea allergies) can get almost instant relief if ACV is used as an after-shampoo rinse.
*Because ACV is rich in potassium, it is beneficial for dogs with diuretic or heart problems. Apple cider vinegar also balances digestive enyzymes in the body, so it is a good remedy for food poisoning and digestive upsets such as intestinal gas and constipation. It also reduces fecal odors. Other benefits of ACV include the prevention of bladder stones, kidney infections, and UTIs.
Apple Cider Vinegar Facts
Apple cider vinegar (ACV) is a type of vinegar made by the fermentation of apple cider. Fermentation is a process in which sugars in a food are broken down by bacteria and yeast.
In the first stage of fermentation, the sugars in the apple cider are turned into alcohol. Then, if the alcohol ferments further, you get vinegar.
The main ingredient of apple cider vinegar is acetic acid, as well as some lactic, citric and malic acids.
Can dogs eat pumpkin? Yes, pumpkin is proven to be a remarkably effective remedy for various digestive problems in dogs, including constipation and diarrhea, and at the same time, it offers plenty of health benefits to our canine friends.
*We give our dogs pure pumpkin all the time. We do a couple of spoon fulls for smaller dogs and our medium standard poodle we give 3 spoon fulls of pumpkin.
*Do not give them canned pumpkin pie filling from the store, it’s just canned or fresh pure pumpkin.
*Now that being said though, dogs can have very little of cinnamon, very little of vanilla extract, raw pure honey and either raw goats or raw sheep’s milk and then you can make a healthy pumpkin treat for them and just as a treat.
*Just please do your own research before attempting to give your dog's anything and talk with your vet.
Here is an article that you can read about the benefits of pure pumpkin.

If you are feeding your dog's RAW, whole eggs, why not? Always feed the entire egg - not just the yolk. When fed with the white and the shell, you have a very nutritious and healthy food. Make sure they are farm fresh eggs not store bought. You can also do hard boiled or scrambled eggs for your dogs as well. Just do your own research and make sure eggs are clean as well.
I made these all natural frozen dog treats with blueberries, apples, bananas & peanut butter topped with oats and vanilla yogurt.
Brushes were pricey but after trying so many these are well worth it especially on poodles, or any fluffy dog. Tmetal pin brush from Kenchii works way better to brush them out after a bath and I use the comb after to check if knots are out, the other brushes after they are throughly brushed are wonderful as well. Kenchii is my favorite brand & well worth the money. Links below…
